We continue to celebrate festival season in New Orleans with our friends at MySpiltMilk.com. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival presented by Shell starts on Friday, April 29, and we have more than two hours of music by people who will play this year with one exception, Les Filles de Illighadad, who will play at New Orleans Airlift’s Music Box Village on Saturday night.
If you’re here in New Orleans, we hope we’ll see you at the Fair Grounds and at some of these shows. If you’re not, we hope this helps you feel connected to one of the most eclectic mixes of music we’ve seen staged at one festival. Here in New Orleans, it doesn’t necessarily seem that unusual, but pulled into a playlist, the magic of breadth of music we have access to becomes clearer.
If you see any of these acts at Jazz Fest, let us know how it went. The only thing better than good music is sharing it with friends.
