The first post-shutdown weekend of Jazz Fest has taken place, and it often felt like nothing had happened. Sunday was crowded like Sundays are crowded, with fans spilling on to the track at the Fair Grounds because there wasn’t enough room in the grass for fans of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and R&B singer Charlie Wilson.
The second weekend starts on Thursday, and once again, we have a playlist for you curated by our friends at MySpiltMilk.com. If you’re going, here’s something to get you ready. If you can’t or are not ready to return to crowds yet, you can still share in the music.
